Rayman Legend video review (Switch version)
My review of Rayman Legends Definitive Edition (Switch version) on the Nintendo Switch (original version release on PS3, PS4, PSVita, 360, Xbox One, PC and WIIU). For gameplay footage click here - https://youtu.be/OH88TDGnUsY
Part 1 Pro - 0:18 to 7:56
Beautiful Graphics
Hard but fun platforming
1080p 60fps (720p in handheld mode)
Best of both worlds. Touch Screen mode (for those who like the WIIU version. Note this mode is only avail in handheld mode) and the non touch screen mode (the PS/Xbox version). Plus all the skins (including the Mario and Luigi one that were only in the WIIU version).
Part 2 Cons - 8:02 to 13:14
Outside of Kung Foot the content is pretty much the same all around.
Difficulty might turn off some people
Handheld mode isn’t really that special (same level with the touch screen turn on. Also tilting the Switch console to do some of the puzzle feels awkward)
Hard to recommend when the other version (the older version that is) are cheaper
My thoughts on the digital foundry video - 13:14 to 16:10
