For this week My 2 Cents Nintendo/Gaming video for the week of June 9 to 15 2024, I give my thoughts on the Xbox June 2024 Showcase, Black Ops 6 had its own showcase, Ubisoft held their Ubisoft forward event & A strange controversy surrounding a video game leaker name Midori.

08:46 - Part 1 Xbox Showcase
https://www.purexbox.com/features/heres-everything-that-was-revealed-at-the-xbox-games-showcase-2024
10:18 - What I like (Xbox Showcase)
Doom: The Dark Age looks slick
Starfield Shattered Space looks nice
Expedition 33 & South of Midnight look interesting (along with Flintlock: The Siege of Dawn)
Perfect Dark looks good
Some gameplay of Fable
Wuchang Fallen Feathers is on my radar
Still looking forward to Stalker 2
Atomfall (from the Sniper Elite team) looks interesting
16:06 - What I didn’t like/Mix/Not Sure (Xbox Showcase)
Odd to start the showcase with a Black Ops 6 trailer when that game has its own showcase
While Perfect Dark looks good we don’t have a release date
A release date for Starfield Shattered Space, Indiana Jones, and The Great Circle & Avowed are still missing
Still, mix on the Metal Gear Snake Eater remake
Although it was nice to see a new Gears of Wars game (Gears Of War E-Day) to close out the showcase we only got a CGI trailer
While new hardware was announced it wasn’t the Xbox portable that some were hoping for.
21:02 - Part 2 Black Ops 6 Showcase

22:06 - What I like (Black Ops 6)
The campaign does look interesting
Zombie mode also looks interesting
23:18 - What I didn’t like/Mix/Not Sure
While this is the main selling point for COD multiplayer doesn’t interest me
For GamePass users we don’t know (yet) if we need to download the full game
An always online connection is needed even for campaign
27:28 - Part 3 Ubisoft Forward 2024
https://www.gamesradar.com/gaming/events-conferences/ubisoft-forward-summer-game-fest-2024-live-coverage-everything-announced/
28:24 - What I like (Ubisoft Forward)
Star Wars Outlaws does look interesting
Prince of Persia is getting some love with updates for The Lost Crown (with the Mask of Darkness) & The Rogue Prince of Persia
Assassin’s Creed Shadow does look interesting
30:12 - What I didn’t like/Mix/Not Sure (Ubisoft Forward)
The Sand of Times Remake getting a 2026 date
The live audience for this showcase seems unnecessary
No Beyond Good & Evil 2, Rayman, Splinter Cell Remake was shown at this Ubisoft Forward
33:18 - Part 4 Video Game Leaker Controversy
