11:28 - What I didn’t like/Mix/Not Sure (The Ghost in the Shell)

12:34 - Overall (The Ghost in the Shell)

What I like (Clayface)

I like how it has a horror/Frankenstein element to it

I also like how this is a bit of a revenge story as well

What I didn’t like/Mix/Not Sure (Clayface)

Although it has a horror element to it, don’t expect to be scared

The Ghost in the Shell)

I like that it still maintains some of the style from past entries

Combat/fight sequences were good (some felt like they were taken out of the original anime)

What I didn’t like/Mix/Not Sure (The Ghost in the Shell)

I’m somewhat mixed on the decision to go with the manga style for this show

Pro

Maintains the solid action combat (along with the graphical options)

I do like that the gameplay takes some pages from Wo Long to Rise of the Ronin

I do like the idea of switching between the Ninja and Samurai approach in combat

Cons

Mixed in that certain weapons can only be assigned to either the Ninja or the Samurai

My review/thoughts on season 2 of Netflix Devil May Cry

Note to Parents: Netflix Devil May Cry is rated TV-MA here in the USA -  https://www.imdb.com/title/tt15716776/parentalguide/?ref_=tt_ov_at_pl_pg

Cast & Crew - https://www.imdb.com/title/tt15716776/fullcredits/?ref_=ttpg_ov_ql_1

Number of episodes- 8

Runtime for each episode - around 30 to 40 minutes

My thoughts on season 1 - https://youtu.be/2rnqMVPifjw

00:00 - Intro

02:56 - What I like

06:24 - What I didn’t like/Mix/Not Sure

08:30 - Overall

What I like

The fight scenes in season 2 are good (especially the ones between Dante & Vergil, not to mention the ones with Mundus & Arius)

I do like that Lady/Mary did get some kind of redemption arc in season 2

Better choices of music than the music they used in season 1 (not perfect but better)

What I didn’t like/Mix/Not Sure

Although it looks like they toned it down (at least from my view), there is still some political message that some may or may not like

04:12 - Part 1 Pro

07:56 - Part 2 Cons

10:46 - Overall

Pro

Runs at 60fps & Higher Resolution (up to 4K in Dock, HD in portable)

Gameplay still holds up well

New addition (Switch 2 version), like the Ether Jet to Amiibo support

Cons

Ether Jet can’t be unlocked until Chapter 4 & reach Bionis Leg Refugee Camp

Although not expansive, the upgrade to the Switch 2 version is $10 (for those who have the Switch 1 version)

Some Criticism from the Switch 1 version still stands in the Switch 2 version

00:00 - Intro

03:42 - Part 1 Pro

07:16 - Part 2 Cons

09:20 - Overall

Pro

Switch 2 version holds up very well (both in visuals and performance)

Combat is still enjoyable

Switch 2 owners are getting the complete editions

Cons

Game-Key Card aside, the Switch 2 versions run only at 30fps (while some of the cutscenes can run up to 60fps, which to me is odd)

My review/thoughts on the streaming service Tubi

Tag for this video: #briansolow #gamer55551 #streaming #streamingnow #streamingseriesreview #streamingservices #review #tubi

Tubi cost: Free

00:00 - Intro

02:14 - What I like

05:58 - What I don’t like/Mix/Not Sure

09:26 - Overall

What I like

Its Free

A good selection of shows, movies & anime (especially since they carried a lot of old shows, since some of them may not be available on other streaming services)

Nice that Tubi has original shows & movies (although some of that does come down to your preference/taste)

What I don’t like/Mix/Not Sure

The live TV part of Tubi is meh

You will have to accept some of the trade-offs for Tubi being free (720p resolution, no offline mode & no ad-free option)

Zelda Direct

https://www.nintendo.com/us/whatsnew/the-legend-of-zelda-40th-anniversary-celebration-revealed-in-new-nintendo-direct-presentation/

What I like (Zelda Direct)

The Ocarina of Time Remake looks gorgeous

Some QOL stuff for the remake (like the day & night cycle to improve controls)

What I didn’t like/Mix/Not Sure (Zelda Direct)

Outside of the Ocarina of Time Remake, everything else was “meh”

Missed opportunity for announcing stuff like Twilight Princess going to NSO, A new Zelda game in development, or an actual trailer for the Zelda movie

Nintendo Direct

https://www.nintendo.com/us/whatsnew/nintendo-direct-reveals-metroid-ravenous-kirby-and-the-world-beyond-and-more-games-for-nintendo-switch-2-and-nintendo-switch/

What I like (Direct)

Persona 4 Remake & Persona 6 are coming to the Switch 2

Far Cry 3 & Blood Dragon are coming to Switch 2

Resident Evil 2,3 & 4 Remake are happening on Switch 2

Some nice (and surprising) announcements, like Metal Slug Ultimate Collection to Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2

Metroid Ravenous & Kirby and the World Beyond were the highlights for me

What I didn’t like/Mix/Not Sure (Direct)

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity is getting a Switch 2 version, but the upgrade will be around $30 (for those who own the Switch 1 version. Also, Switch 2 is a game key card)

No Dustblood release date, nor did we see a new 3D Mario game

Great that Switch 2 is getting good 3rd-party support, but the wow factor will eventually wear off

What I like (State of Play)

Metro 2039 looks good

Konami had some good stuff to show, like Rev. Noir & Rhapsody in Scarlet

FF7 Revelation release date (April 8) plus some gameplay was shown & FF Resonance had a demo release

Although I’m not a Gundam fan, I might try out Rogue Orbit

Good pick for PS classic (Mega Man X Command, Dino Crisis 2 & Ratchet & Clank)

What I didn’t like/Mix/Not Sure (State of Play)

The clip for the upcoming Resident Evil movie seems unnecessary

Japan State of Play was better
